Häfele Malaysia Invests RM2.7 million Into Design Centre and Showrooms

Petaling Jaya, 10 March 2016 - Häfele opened its first Design Centre in Malaysia today to inspire ideas for living and provide a Häfele experience to customers. Located in Damansara Utama, the Häfele Design Centre Kuala Lumpur is expected to bring customers closer to the brand. Häfele is a leading specialist of furniture fittings, architectural hardware, home appliances, and sanitary fittings for homes and commercial properties. Häfele invested RM1.8 million into the 7,200 sq. ft Häfele Design Centre which occupies a double storey lot to showcase a reality of dream kitchens and wardrobes. Also on display are individual components that improve the functionality of cabinets, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and other living and working environments. Another RM900,000 was used to rejuvenate the Kota Kinabalu showroom which opened in 2001, and establish a new showroom in Penang. The Design Centre, which presents ideas and solutions for modern living, was personally conceptualised by the General Director of Häfele Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, Dominik Fruth. He sees a rising demand from Malaysians who desire to own an exclusive piece for their homes. Speaking at the opening of the Häfele Design Centre, Dominik said, “Every product that Häfele offers is intelligently designed with functionality and safe operation to make life easier. With this Design Centre, customers can touch and feel our solutions and be immersed in the Häfele experience.” “For example, in the kitchen, whether it is storage, cleaning, preparation or cooking, Häfele’s contemporary designs are grounded in practicality.
