The Award Winning Tavoletto

(15/12/2011) Tavoletto from Hafele has won the Good Design Award in HOMEDEC 2011. This multi-fuctional furniture is a desk turning into a bed without clearing the items on the desk. This is made possible by the unique movement of this intelligent fitting, which ensures that the table top is always in a horizontal position. It glides downwards without anything slides or falls off.

When the bed is folded down there is still plenty of room between the table top and the bed for PC, monitor, files etc. Transfer the bed back to a desk is as smooth as easy.

Additional storage spaces such as a wall cabinet with lighting and other functions can be integrated, making the furniture ultra-flexible and configurable to your requirements. Predestined usage areas are rooms belonging to children and teenagers, student flats, guest rooms and boats– anywhere where the rooms are small and there is a lack of space.

The Tavoletto Bed/ Desk Combo from Häfele is available in two mattress sizes: 900 x 2000 mm and 1400 x 2000 mm. Tested by LGA Germany in accordance with the DIN EN 1129 standard. Functionality is again achieved by great and unique Hardware Fittings from Häfele.
